Prof. Dr. Howard Gardner is an American developmental psychologist and education scholar, best known for proposing the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, which broadened the understanding of human abilities beyond traditional IQ. He is the Hobbs Professor of Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Senior Director of Harvard Project Zero.

Gardner’s work bridges psychology, education, and human development, with a strong emphasis on how people learn, create, and contribute meaningfully to society. His major contributions include research on intelligence, creativity, ethics, and leadership, and he has authored numerous influential books, including Frames of Mind, Multiple Intelligences, and Five Minds for the Future.
